Luxury Fragrance & Hair Specialist

L’Odeur is a boutique fragrance destination specializing in niche, Dubai, and designer perfumes, alongside a curated selection of premium hair products. We are seeking a driven and professional sales expert to join our team.

Position Type & Working Hours

Part-time position, primarily afternoon shifts:

• Monday – Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Thursday – Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Additional shifts may be required on weekends, holidays, and during peak sales periods.

Role Overview

As a Luxury Fragrance & Hair Specialist, you will deliver elevated, personalized consultations, guiding clients in selecting signature scents and premium hair products that reflect their style and preferences. You will represent the brand with professionalism, confidence, and refined presentation at all times.

This role requires strong sales ability — not just assisting customers, but confidently leading the interaction, addressing objections, and closing sales effectively.

You will be responsible for operating the POS system and handling cash and card transactions accurately, receiving and processing inventory, pricing merchandise, and maintaining an organized and visually appealing sales floor. The ability to manage responsibilities independently — including during busy hours or solo shifts — is essential.

Ongoing product knowledge development is expected as new collections arrive.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of proven sales experience (mandatory)
  Background in fragrance, beauty, cosmetics, skincare, luxury retail, automotive, electronics, mobile sales, or other high-value product environments is highly valued
• Minimum 2+ years of customer service experience (mandatory)
• Fluent English required; French is a strong asset
• Demonstrated ability to confidently close sales and convert consultations into purchases
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Comfortable handling customer objections and guiding clients toward purchasing decisions
• Presentable, polished, and professional appearance
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced retail setting

Compensation

Competitive hourly wage + commission
